Frequently asked Questions:

How much can a miner earn per month?

There is no general answer to this as it mainly depends on 3 factors:

• Current SPC price
• Utilization of the miner/memory
• Incentives

Let's assume you have the SCP-M8 model, for example, and the full 8TB of storage is occupied. They quote 5 SCP per TB per month. You get an additional 125 SCP as a "bonus/incentive" called "Incentives" from the network for each TB occupied.
So you get 130 SCP per paid TB per month. With 8TB of storage that would be 8 x 130 SCP = 1040 SCP per month.
At the current SPC rate of €2.44, it would be €317 per month per TB of storage used. In this example, that would be €2536 per month with 8TB of storage space and a power consumption of around 6€.

Why have I never heard of SCPrime?

The SCPrime network is currently still in the beta phase and will not go live until January 18th, 2022. There are only about 2000 miners connected to the network, so you still have the chance to be there "at the very beginning". The current market capitalization is almost 88 million euros, even though the network will only go "live" in 8 days!

Are there similar projects like SCPrime?

Yes, the best known is certainly FileCoin. The current price of Filecoin is just under €25. Filecoin peaked at €163 at the end of March 2021. However, the Filecoin network is now "overfarmed", which is why getting started there is no longer worthwhile.

Are you a real company?

We are often asked this question and of course the answer is: Yes, we have been a company based in Germany for over 10 years. You can also find us on Ebay under the name "tnt elektronik". We have been working there as a commercial seller for 10 years with over 25,000 positive reviews. However, we are usually represented in a different industry, as you can certainly see from the other products in the German version of our online shop. However, privately we have been enthusiastic crypto fans from the very beginning. We started Bitcoin CPU mining back in 2010 and have now been able to fulfill a long-cherished dream with our own miner series.

 

How can I pay my miner?

You can pay normally with Paypal or bank/Sofortüberweisung. If you want to pay in a cryptocurrency, just write to us.

 

What to do after purchase?

That depends on what you choose. Our technician will be happy to set up the miner for you free of charge via remote maintenance on the day of your arrival.

However, you can also set it up yourself. You need a PC or laptop and about 5 minutes of your time. Unfortunately, since we don't have a "web interface" for our miners yet, you have to enter commands on a Linux console. We provide detailed instructions for each miner. We also offer support by phone or Whatsapp.

Each miner comes with a small amount of SCP in the wallet because of the collateral required by the network called "Colleteral" so you can get started right away. Visit the official SCPrime website for more information.
